I am always on the lookout for new resources to share with you or for inspiration for later posts. About a week ago, I stumbled across a “free” research-focused environmental journal called Spheres Magazine.
Spheres includes updates on research conducted by the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. These scientists study Earth systems, including the atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere.
The 2019-2020 edition is downloadable in PDF format. The 36-page document includes articles about arctic research, new wildfire studies, and an intriguing report about moss and a possible compound linked to improved mental health. (Yes, moss!)
Several older editions are also available.
